The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Terms and Condition of Sale for Dry Goods
Product and Pricing Policy
All prices quoted are based on Australian Dollars (AUD) and Goods and Service Tax (GST) inclusive. All prices are subject to change. For all prices, products and offers, Aquaristic Online reserves the right to make adjustments due to changing market conditions, product discontinuation, manufacturer price changes, errors in advertisements and other extenuating circumstances.
Stock level and price information on this website is updated frequently every day from our inventory and order processing system. We recommend contacting us prior to placing an order if you are placing an order for a product that has a low quantity in stock (i.e. Less than 5 items) or the quantity you require is more than 5 items.
For any products marked as 'Special Order Item' or ‘Out of Stock’, prices may vary between when you place your order and when the actual product becomes available. Aquaristic Online will try to absorb any price differences when possible, but if this is not economically possible will have to pass the price variation on.
Order Placement and Acceptance
All orders placed on Aquaristic Online must be placed via the Aquaristic Online website. Unless otherwise agreed in writing all orders placed through Aquaristic Online are subject to acceptance by Aquaristic Online. We reserve the right to decline any order prior to issuing an invoice. A full refund will be issued for any declined orders if the customer has made a payment for the order.
Special Order Items
Some products will be marked as 'Special Order Item'. This is normally due to size of the product or the fact that the product has to be specially ordered from the supplier. Please contact us at email@example.com prior to placing order for an estimated processing and delivery time.
In general it will take maximum 14 days to fulfill 'Special Order Items', provided the product is in stock at our supplier. Unless the estimated delivery time cannot be fulfilled within 14 days from order date, the order cannot be cancelled.
Should our supplier need to indent the product from overseas we will inform you on an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) in which you can cancel your order if you do not wish to wait. Once you agree on the ETA the order cannot be cancelled unless we cannot fulfill the order within the agreed time frame.
Items in shopping cart are not reserved until you have completed the checkout process. Orders are not binding upon Aquaristic Online until payment is received in full and accepted by Aquaristic Online. Terms of payment are within Aquaristic Online's sole discretion. The Customer is responsible for sales and all other taxes associated with the order. All payments are to be made or charged when invoiced. Customers are entitled to a full refund if the product is not in stock. Payment for the full amount of the order must be received before we will process the order.
Payment for the order can be made by any of the following methods:
• Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) - Immediate Clearance
• PayPal - Immediate Clearance
Refund and Return Policy for Dry Goods
All products sold are "fit for purpose", however Aquaristic Online does not warrant or guarantee that any product sold is compatible with any equipment already installed or in use by the customer. Customer must research manufacturer's specifications before making any decision to purchase. Aquaristic Online will not refund should customers change their mind or find they can buy the same or similar products elsewhere for a cheaper price.
Defective products can be returned to Aquaristic Online within 14 days from the invoice date at Aquaristic Online’s discretion for refund, credit, replacement, or repair. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain Return Authorization (RA) Number prior to returning the products. The RA Number must be clearly displayed on the returned package. Product returned without an RA Number will be declined and returned to sender. If the products are indeed defect we will issue the refund or replacement upon safe arrival.
Aquaristic Online does not provide refund or exchange products for change of mind or errors made by customer when placing order.
We may allow a return on case-by-case basis, providing the item is fulfilling these conditions:
- Returned within 14 days after purchasing. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
- Item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- Item must be 100% complete in the original packaging and with its original tags including all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentations
- Item must not be damaged in any way.
Due to hygiene reasons, we will not accept returns for food and supplement products.
Please note that refunds do not include postage.Customers are liable for payment of return postage. 20% re-stocking and returns handling fee will apply.
For your protection we strongly recommend you to add tracking number and fully insure your return shipment in case of loss or damage. Please use a carrier that is able to provide you with proof of delivery. We shall not be responsible should the shipment fail to reach us.
Freight Policy / Damaged or Faulty Dry Goods in Transit
Whilst every effort is made by Aquaristic Online to ensure our shipment packing conforms to the highest standard it is your responsibility to ensure there are no breakages or missing items at the time of delivery. All goods and invoices must be checked on arrival. Fragile items such as light tubes, heaters, aquarium tanks (glass or plastic) must be inspected on arrival to ensure they are intact. Please refuse the delivery if you find shortages, incorrect or damaged goods in the shipment and notify us within 24 hours of receipt, otherwise claims will not be recognized. By signing for and accepting a delivery you acknowledge that the product has arrived in good condition. Aquaristic Online does not take responsibility for products if you have given authority to the courier to leave.
Warranty for Dry Goods
For warranty claims please contact Aquaristic Online at email@example.com to make appropriate arrangements and obtain Return Authorization (RA) Number prior to returning the product. The RA Number must be clearly displayed on the returned package. Product returned without RA Number will be declined and returned to sender. Aquaristic Online does not cover freight expenses on warranty claims. It is sender's liability for return postage and Aquaristic Online will send the return free of charge.
Warranty terms varies for every products. Generally electrical products carry 1-3 year warranty term. Please refer to the description on the products before purchase.
We recommend that you keep the original product packaging if possible. In the unlikely event that you require a warranty repair and you do not have the original packaging, you will bear the responsibility for safely packaging your Product for transport and Aquaristic Online accepts no liability for any damage that may occur in transit.
Aquaristic Online reserves the right to replace the product or relevant part with the same or equivalent product or part, rather than repair it. Where a replacement is provided, Aquaristic Online reserves the right to replace the product or relevant part with the same or equivalent product.
Alternatively, if Aquaristic Online is unable to repair or replace the product, the customer will be provided with credit for Aquaristic Online's store or may be refunded the price of the product (at the original price the product was purchased excluding the postage cost).
In the event that a replacement, refund, or store credit is provided, the faulty item will become the property of Aquaristic Online.
Warranties on products purchased from Aquaristic Online do not apply:
- to consumable parts, such as dry food, frozen food, supplements and medications;
- to cosmetic damage, to boxes, packaging or exterior surfaces (including during transit);
- to damage caused by use with another product;
- to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause;
- to damage caused by operating the product outside any guidelines published for use;
- to a product that has been modified to alter functionality;
- to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal ageing of the product;
- if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the product;
- where proof of purchase (invoice or paid order confirmation) cannot be provided;
- to damage caused by failure to provide dry storage for non-submersible electronic products ie. in aquarium cabinet that house open top sump filtration or in aquarium hood without proper ventilation.
