The Neptune Optical Leak Detection Probe (LD-3) is the latest addition to Neptune’s leak detection range. This optical multi-surface leak sensor is a weighted design and an upgraded solution compared to the Solid-Surface Leak Sensor (LD-2), offering improved reliability and durability.

Improved Design for Reliable Leak Detection

The LD-3 leak detection probe features an epoxied design that prevents water from entering the internal circuitry. This allows the sensor to be used repeatedly, even after frequent exposure to water, without compromising performance.

By utilising an optical sensor, the Neptune LD-3 can be placed on virtually any surface without false activation, including:

• Metal surfaces

• Epoxied cement floors

• Smooth or uneven flooring

This makes it ideal for use around aquariums, sumps, RO systems, and filtration equipment.
