Coral Essentials – Coral Power Trace A is a concentrated blend of strontium (50,000 ppm) and barium, formulated to replenish essential trace elements consumed by growing corals. Strontium plays a vital role in coral skeletal formation and is naturally present in seawater at 8–10 ppm. Levels below 5 ppm can inhibit coral growth, making supplementation especially important for SPS-dominated reef systems.

Why Strontium Matters

Strontium is incorporated into coral skeletons during the calcification process and works alongside calcium and alkalinity to support strong, structured growth. Because corals rapidly consume available strontium, regular supplementation helps maintain stable water chemistry and consistent coral development.

Directions for Use

• Start with: 2 drops (0.1 ml) per 100 L of aquarium water daily

• If coral response is positive, gradually increase to 3 drops (0.15 ml) daily

• Maximum dose: 4 drops (0.2 ml) per 100 L in heavily stocked aquariums

• Advanced dosing:

  • 0.1 ml (2 drops) increases strontium by 0.05 ppm per 100 L

  • Test regularly and adjust according to measured depletion rates
