Why isn't my magnesium increasing even with daily dosing?
If your levels are very low (e.g., 1050 mg/L), it may take multiple doses over several days or increased dosing (up to 5x standard). Magnesium is slow to rise in large systems. Consider using a salt mix with higher magnesium (e.g., Aquavitro Salinity).
Will this raise strontium too much?
No. Strontium is dosed in natural seawater proportion, and its uptake rate typically follows magnesium. Even if it slightly accumulates, there's a 10x safety margin. Regular water changes will prevent excess buildup.
Does the bottle have a second seal?
