Gentle Coral Disinfectant for Healthy Reef Aquariums
Seachem Reef Dip™ is a specially formulated coral disinfectant that uses an elemental iodine complexed to a protective slime coat to safely and effectively treat corals. It works against bacteria, fungi, and protozoans while remaining safe for both stony and soft corals, anemones, and polyps.
This product can be used prophylactically to prevent infection or to treat diseased specimens. The unique slime coat ensures the iodine remains in contact with the coral’s surface for extended protection and prevents re-infection.

Directions for Use
- Use only in a separate dip container, not directly in the aquarium.
- Remove 4L (1 gallon) of water from the source aquarium into a suitable container.
- Add 5ml (1 capful) of Reef Dip and mix thoroughly.
- Immerse the coral for 5–10 minutes, depending on severity of the issue. For severe cases, a double dose may be used.
- For clear lesions, dip concentrate can be painted directly onto the coral before dipping.
- Observe corals during treatment for adverse reactions. Prepared dip solution can be used for up to one day, then discard.
