Quantum Reef® pH Up Saltwater is specially formulated to safely raise and stabilize pH levels in marine and reef aquariums without encouraging nuisance algae growth. Maintaining a pH around 8.3 is crucial for healthy biological functions and reducing stress in fish and other aerobic organisms. This supplement counteracts CO₂ buildup from respiration by gently increasing pH, promoting optimal tank conditions.

While effective for temporary pH adjustment, we recommend investigating the underlying causes of low pH such as overstocking, poor aeration, low water flow, or insufficient alkalinity.
