Installation Options
Aerobic Setup (Ammonia & Nitrite Removal)
Place rocks above water level (e.g. in overflow or above refugium) and trickle tank water over them.
Anaerobic Setup (Nitrate Removal)
Place rocks in a low-flow, low-oxygen area like under substrate or in a quiet sump zone.
Combined Setup (General Filtration)
Position in medium-flow areas where both aerobic and anaerobic zones can develop within the same rock.
How to Use

Rinse with aquarium or purified water (minimal dust due to high-quality firing).

Soak for 12+ hours in a container with aquarium water and a bacterial additive (e.g. Polyplab Genesis).

Install in your sump, refugium, under substrate, or discreetly in your aquascape.

Supports up to 700 gallons total (2 rocks) – Add more for high bioload tanks (max 500% capacity).
Avoid placing Genesis Rocks in contact with vibrating equipment to prevent chipping or damage.
