Cholla Wood is the hollow skeleton of a cholla cactus, featuring a unique porous structure with many holes that provide natural shelter for shrimp and small aquatic creatures. Its surface encourages biofilm growth, a vital food source for shrimp. This wood releases natural tannins that gently lower pH and add a warm tint to aquarium water.
