The Salifert Copper Test Kit is a highly sensitive and reliable tool for detecting copper levels in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Copper is often used as a treatment for fish infected with parasites, but excessive concentrations can be harmful to marine fish and invertebrates.

This kit can accurately measure dissolved or weakly chelated copper (bound with compounds such as citric acid) within the range of 0.05 mg/L to 2 mg/L. It is ideal for ensuring safe copper levels after treatments or monitoring tap water that may contain copper.

Regular copper testing is essential, especially after copper-based medication use, to protect sensitive livestock and maintain a healthy aquatic environment.
