The AFS is designed to dispense almost any properly sized pellet or flake food. However, for optimal performance, it pairs perfectly with Neptune Systems Crossover Diet — a specially designed pellet created in partnership with Reed Mariculture (makers of Reef Nutrition foods).

Stay-Dry System Prevents Clogging and Caking

Unlike many aquarium autofeeders, the Neptune AFS Stay-Dry system uses a motorized food delivery mechanism that extends and retracts into a sealed container for every feeding. The container’s built-in gasket keeps moisture out, preventing food from clumping or caking and eliminating clogs.

Daisy-Chain Multiple AFS Units Together

The AFS connects to your Apex using a standard AquaBus cable. With two AquaBus ports, you can easily daisy-chain multiple feeders:

• Extend food capacity for longer absences

• Feed different types of food at scheduled times
