The Mantis Bio Sphere is manufactured from inert ceramic material with an advanced open-flow architecture, providing one of the largest usable surface areas available for biological filtration. Compared to conventional filter media, Mantis Bio Spheres deliver higher efficiency with less media required to effectively treat NH4-N (ammonia) and NO3-N (nitrate).
